Welcome to McCoy’s Health & Life Coaching. Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using our website (www.mccoyshealthlifecoaching.com) or engaging in any coaching services offered by Priscilla McCoy, Certified Health & Life Coach and Registered Nurse. By accessing our website or purchasing our services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms, in accordance with the laws of the United States of America.
If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use this website or our services.
1. Services Provided
McCoy’s Health & Life Coaching offers the following virtual coaching services via Zoom:
- Health Coaching
- Life Coaching
- 1:1 Private Coaching (12-Week Program)
- Group Coaching (12-Week Program)
These services are designed to support individuals in achieving personal goals related to wellness, behavior change, stress management, and life balance.
2. Disclaimer – Not Medical or Psychological Advice
All coaching services provided by McCoy’s Health & Life Coaching are non-clinical, educational, and advisory in nature. Coaching is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or mental health treatment.
Although Priscilla McCoy is a Registered Nurse, clients acknowledge that coaching services do not establish a medical provider-patient relationship. Clients should consult with a licensed physician or healthcare provider before making any health-related decisions.
If you are experiencing a medical or psychological emergency, call 911 or seek immediate professional help.
3. Eligibility & Participation
By using our website or enrolling in coaching services, you represent and warrant that you:
- Are at least 18 years of age
- Are legally capable of entering into a binding contract
- Are participating voluntarily and of your own free will
- Are not under any legal or medical restriction that would prevent safe participation
McCoy’s reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, including, but not limited to, individuals who are not a suitable fit for the program.
4. Coaching Program Details
1:1 Private Coaching (12 Weeks)
Clients will begin with an “Opening the Relationship” conversation where goals, lifestyle, stress, and eating habits are discussed. Once approved, a coaching agreement is sent by email. After signing and submitting the agreement, clients schedule their start date.
- Sessions are held once a week via Zoom or a phone call, lasting 45–60 minutes
- Materials are emailed 2–3 days in advance
- Client sets and reviews goals each week with support from the coach
Group Coaching (12 Weeks)
Participants join a 12-week group coaching program delivered via Zoom:
- Each session covers a different topic
- Held once per week, usually on Tuesdays or Thursdays
- Sessions last 45 to 90 minutes, depending on group size
- Recordings are for educational purposes only
5. Payment Terms
Payment Options:
- Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover)
- Debit Cards
- CashApp
Full payment is required before the first session unless a payment plan is agreed upon in writing.
Late or Failed Payments:
Failure to complete payments may result in termination of coaching services, revoked access to session materials, or legal collection procedures in accordance with U.S. federal and state laws.
6. Refund & Cancellation Policy
1:1 Coaching:
- No refunds after the agreement is signed and the program has begun
- Rescheduling must be requested at least 24 hours in advance
- Missed sessions without notice are forfeited and not rescheduled
Group Coaching:
- Program fees are non-refundable
- Recordings are for educational purposes only
Refund requests for special circumstances must be submitted in writing and are evaluated case-by-case at McCoy’s sole discretion.
7. Confidentiality & Data Protection
We value your privacy. Any personal information shared during sessions or through our website is kept confidential in accordance with U.S. privacy laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) where applicable.
Your data will never be sold or shared without your explicit consent unless required by law.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
All content, materials, session outlines, worksheets, and website content are the sole intellectual property of McCoy’s Health & Life Coaching. You may not copy, share, distribute, or reproduce any materials without written permission.
9. Technology & Platform Use
All coaching is conducted via Zoom or a phone call. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they have a working internet connection and access to Zoom or a phone. We are not responsible for missed sessions due to technical issues on the client’s end.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by U.S. law, McCoy’s Health & Life Coaching and its affiliates are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of coaching services or reliance on information provided.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless McCoy’s Health & Life Coaching and its representatives from any claims arising out of your participation.
11. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of [Insert State, e.g., Georgia or California], United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or small claims court in the applicable jurisdiction.
12. Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on our website (www.mccoyshealthlifecoaching.com) with the revised date. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of the updated terms.
